Super Tuesday Election Messaging Advisory
The carriers are expecting large messaging volumes for the upcoming Super Tuesday election, March 5, 2024. Carriers and upstream partners have advised:
Carriers expect possible MMS delivery delays.
Advice: Send your MMS as early in the day or as early in the cycle as you can. Waiting to the last minute for MMS may lead to delivery issues.
Carriers expect large volumes at the top and bottom of the hour.
Advice: MMS broadcasts should be scheduled or sent on “off the hour” times such as 9:17am.
SMS delivery will not likely be impacted by large volumes like MMS will be.
Advice: Consider sending SMS instead of MMS.
