Android Update Nov 1, 2025 -- Inflated Click Counts The Android operating system rolled out an update to handsets that is automatically inspecting links for malware. The operating system effectively "clicks" the link when it is received by the handset. We believe this is inflating click counts by 5-10% and is happening on somewhere around 20% of Android handsets.
The Prompt.io engineering team has identified the automated click and is working on a patch to the software that we expect to be released on or before November 13, 2025.
