How to Interpret your Performance Overview Tiles

The Performance Overview sits at the top of your Prompt.io home page and gives you an at-a-glance read on messaging activity. The tiles you see depend on your role. Admin tiles show organization-wide performance. Staff tiles focus on your own activity, plus the shared Active Broadcasts tile so you can see what's running today.
Role | Tiles |
|---|---|
Admin | Total Sends · Delivery Rate · Reply Rate · Active Broadcasts |
Staff | My Messages Sent · My Active Conversations · My Replies Handled · Active Broadcasts |
Time period and comparisons
The selector in the top right of the Performance Overview sets the window most tiles report on. Admins can choose Today, Week to Date, Month to Date, or Quarter to Date; staff can choose Today or Week to Date. Beneath each number, a comparison line shows how the current period stacks up against the previous one (for example, "+12 vs last week").
Two tiles are live counts and don't change with the time period: Active Broadcasts and My Active Conversations. They always reflect right now.
Admin tiles
Total Sends
The number of messages successfully sent by your broadcasts during the selected period.
Only successful broadcast sends are counted: messages that failed to send and one-on-one conversation messages outside of broadcasts are not included.
Below the sends count is a diff showing how the selected time frame compares to the previous period.
Delivery Rate
Of the messages sent, the percentage confirmed delivered.
Calculated as delivered ÷ (delivered + failed), where failed includes any message that errored instead of delivering.
If there were no sends in the selected period, the tile shows – rather than 0%, since there's nothing to rate. If the previous period had sends, its rate appears below for reference (e.g., "89% last week"). When both periods have data, the comparison shows the previous period's rate for context (e.g., "Up from 74% last week" or "Down from 91% last week").
Reply Rate
Of the messages delivered, the percentage of recipients who wrote back.
Only typed replies count: opt-outs and taps on links or instant apps are not counted as replies. When there were no deliveries in the period, the tile shows –, with the same comparison behavior as Delivery Rate.
Active Broadcasts
The number of broadcasts currently able to make progress: either awaiting confirmations or still delivering.
This is a live count and isn't affected by the time period. Paused broadcasts aren't counted in the number, but are noted below it (e.g., "0 paused") so they don't get lost.
Staff tiles
My Messages Sent
Messages you personally sent: broadcast messages you confirmed, plus messages you sent by hand in agent tools.
Confirmed messages count at the moment you confirm them, regardless of when (or whether) delivery completes.
My Active Conversations
Your conversations that are currently active.
This is a live count of right now; it isn't affected by the selected time period.
My Replies Handled
The number of conversations you sent a message in during the selected period.
Each contact counts as one conversation per day; messaging the same contact again tomorrow counts as a new conversation.
Active Broadcasts
Same as the admin tile: a live count of broadcasts currently in progress, with paused broadcasts noted below the number.
