Broadcast Queuing

Broadcast Queuing gives organizations the power to set up multiple broadcasts that will send in a predetermined order. Queuing is accessible in the In Progress tab for Broadcasts.

Broadcast queuing facilitates best broadcast practices and organizational efficiency:

  • Only one broadcast at a time will be actively sending on a given set of channels.

  • Broadcasts are ordered such that when a broadcast in progress completes, the next broadcast in the queue starts automatically without any user action required.

  • For organizations with a single outbound channel, broadcasts will be sent one at a time, in priority order.

If an organization has multiple channels, broadcasts on exclusive channels will be sent simultaneously.

Examples:

  • Broadcast #1 on channel A and a Broadcast #2 on channel B can be sent simultaneously.

  • Broadcast #1 on channel A and a Broadcast #2 on channel A will require the highest priority broadcast to complete before the next broadcast will start sending.

  • With Broadcast #1 on Channels A, B, and C and Broadcast #2 on channel A, Broadcast #1 will need to complete before Broadcast #2 starts sending because channel A is being utilized in both Broadcasts.
