Your API Key Tokens

You can use your API Key Tokens to authorize applications to help automate your workflows!

In the Full Suite, go to the Hamburger Menu in the top-left corner > Developer Tools > API Keys.

You have the option to copy a default API Key, or create a new one. Generally, it's best practice to use a unique API Key Token for each unique use case. Say for example, your organization has built out two projects that require an API Key Token to hit the Prompt.io endpoints: one is a custom analytics dashboard, and the other is a signup form on your website. You should create two API Key Tokens, naming one of them "Analytics Dashboard," and the other "Signup Form." This way, if your Analytics Dashboard API Token becomes compromised, you can delete that token without taking down your signup form.
